corrupt video and audio

When i attempted to import my audio and video files i get whats in the photos, the audio is speed up 200% and the video is all distorted and damaged. i just bought a new computer for just editing, i reset my premier pro settings but i cant upload anything. the videos and audio play fine in any other program except premier pro. dont know what to do anymore anything helps.
