Crash during render, sequence is GONE

PP19 and Media Encoder19. I was rendering a video through ME on my Mac Pro (32G) when the rendering stopped and my computer became unresponsive. Waited a while and tried to unfreeze it with Control-Alt-Delete etc, but that didnt work. I was forced to hold the power button till it shut off. When it comes back on, I reopen my project, and the sequence is gone. All the assets remained, but NO SEQUENCE. I opened the last several autosaves to see the same. Assets but no sequence. What can I do to find or recover the sequence?? It was hours and hours of work and the deadline is looming.
