Crash to desktop

System specs:
MacOS Sierra 10.13.3
4.2 GHz I7
32 GB RAM

Radeon Pro 580

I am using Premier Pro CC on a couple of machines (version 12.0.1 build 69) and am having a couple of issues:
1) Crashes to the desktop with no error messages when using the legacy title tool.

2) Issues where the application will not let me render.

3) An "unknown error" message box seemingly for no reason.

4) A "you need to shutdown" message box on occasions.

5) Issues where the application will not allow for playback.

Are there options that I should have enabled in my project settings files to enable a smoother user experience?
