Need Help ! Today both of my machines (both Windows 10, both PP 24.1) started getting the error message "Saving backup projects to Creative Cloud requires a Creative Cloud Files directoryPlease install the Creative Cloud desktop application"  Then PP will hang and crash. This is new. I have cthe desktp application and the directories I have set have been set for 2+ years. I have :

1. Changed locations for the sync files

2. Deleted the contents of the synced files

3. Paused file syncing

4. updated creative cloud desktop

5. Uninstalled PP and creative cloud desktop and reinstalled (did not use cleaner tool)

I am not sure what else to do. I cannot work for more then ten or 15 miunutes after a restart before it does it again. I am up against some deadlines and I am working in 15 minue intervals. I need to get this fixed! If ANYONE can help please let me know.

Update. Turning off Sync in the prefernces stopped it from trying to sync which in turn stopped the crashing. I am not even sure if this is a bug at this point since they are taking the cloud sync functionality from individual users starting in February.

Thanks for the forum to work my way thropugh this.

I just remebered youcan turn off sync in the preferences menu under Auto Save. I have just done that. I will see if that is a fix.
