Create Encore button from scratch

Hi, I want to create a button using Photoshop.

I know the trick where you start in Encore, edit a menu in Photoshop and create buttons there (using ( + ) for button identification and ( = ) for highlighting the object). But I would like to be able to create a button from scratch in Photoshop and add that button to the library so I can select it from the Button library of Encore to add it to any menu.

How do I do that? Thanks in advance!

See this page, "Add items or sets to the library." and "Add an item to the library":

How to import assets for Adobe Encore CS5, CS6

You can add a menu to the library by dragging from the project/menu panel, but a button will not work like that. You can, however, drag a button from the menu viewer to the library panel. Encore will prompt you for a name for the "new item," and places it in the button group.

That was exactly what I wanted to achieve. Thanks a lot!
