Creating a Caption Preset for Multilingual Support in Premiere Pro

Hi Adobe Community,

I’m looking for guidance on creating a caption preset in Premiere Pro that supports multiple languages. My goal is to streamline the process so that I can apply consistent formatting across captions in English, Spanish, French, etc.

Specifically, I’d like to know:

If you’ve had English captions translated to other languages you probaly have seen the text either grows or shrinks depending on the language. I want to ensure the text has room on the screen and is displayed long enough to read in any language.

In the Text window of Premiere when you select Create Captions, there are a number of parameters that can be set and saved as a preset. I’m looking to the optimal setting for generating SRT files that can be translated to various languages.

Any advice, step-by-step instructions, or examples of multilingual caption presets would be greatly appreciated!
