Hi. Please help. I cant beleive what I thought to be basic, not quite so!! I simply want to create a DVD. I pay full subscription and have Premier Pro 2019 CC version. People talk about ENCORE?? Ive researched with difficulty, and some say its now invalid? The support dept were not very helpful other than saying to use a third party app called NERO. Is this what I need to do? Is this the best software for this. Why can we create DVD using Premier Elements but not the advanced Pro version. I really appreciate any kind replies. Thank you so much. I was very dissapointed with Adobe support. Is NERO what I need?? Thank youuuu.

Why can we create DVD using Premier Elements

Adobe removed Encore (and ability to burn dvds) when they released Premiere CC.

So, yes you will need a third party application.

Encore were not removed when Creative Cloud was introduced year 2013. They did stop the development of Encore at that time but it was aviable to all CC subscribers until a couple of weeks ago when Adobe removed all old versions of Premiere Pro and only kept the two last major releases, iow version 12 and version 13. 🙂

Yes, you need a third party DVD authoring application. I still have Encore installed but use TMPGEnc Authoring Works 6 more than Encore since it is in many ways better.

Here is a list of alternatives: Authoring (DVD) and Authoring (Blu-ray/UHD/AVCHD)
