Creating a RED File after effects clip from premiere is LOG?

Hi thereI am trying to do a cut out of the talent by creating a duplicate clip in premiere and creating that duplicate as an After Effects file - where I do the cut out - but when it opens in After Effects the clip is back in LOG and hasnt taken into account the settings I did to the clip in Premiere (opening the clip in premiere and changing it to REC709 in the RED Clip menu within Premiere).  Not sure how to stop it doing this as my cutout is in log? Gavin

I'd have to test it with a RED RAW clip, but I'm not sure if that pipeline works properly with Dynamic Link.

As a workaround, export the RED clip with the baked in color correction from Premiere (use ProRes 422 HQ to avoid quality loss) and import that into After Effects. You can always import the comp into Premiere wthout having to render it out of AE (essentially Dynamic Linking in reverse).
