Creating multiple projects

Is it possible to create multiple projects at once or more efficiently?

I have a few projects I'm about to start working on and was wondering if it's possible to batch create projects beforehand either with scripts or plugins.

Templates don't really help as the media files will have different sequence settings

Yes, if you want to use Automation Blocks to create new projects quickly, get started here:

https://docs.mamoworld.com/automation-blocks/tools-pr/projectSetup

The default block scripts are designed to create a single new project based on a templating system, but you can modify the block code. So you could nest the blocks of the script into a block which loops over spreadsheet rows,  for example,  to create one project for each row. Really depends on what exactly you want to achieve, but (almost) everything is possible 🙂

Create a project, duplicate - rename as much as you like in explorer (or finder).

Can you explain a bit more what you would use this for?

Didn't get what exactly you want to achieve, yes you can have multiple projects open in Premiere Pro.

You can also have multiple sequences, try Automation Blocks if you want to batch create sequences

based on media settings.

Sorry if it wasn't clear. I don't really mean having multiple projects or sequences open simultaneously, more so can I create the projects that have different names at once rather than creating a project one after the other. Automation blocks sounds interesting? Is it a plugin?

@fred28827744h95h,

I see options in Automation Blocks to create new projects. Let's see what @Mathias Moehl has to say.

Automation Blocks is a paid extension for Premiere Pro (and After Effects) that is extraordinarily powerful and flexible.
