Creating room tone for gaps in Audio. (Using AI?)

Please read this post closely before responding. It is a very specific problem. As an Video Editor of feature films and Television shows I often find myself looking for non dialogue room tone to fill in spaces in my audio tracks. There does occur spaces in my audio tracks where there is nothing on the timeline and I need to put in some room tone. This is typically done by looking for quiet bits in a take and cutting them in. Can this process be automated?

Please do not suggest using "sound enhance" and clogging the post this is not the question. I already know how to clean-enhance up BG with Premiere audio enhance. This is just about filling holes with roomtone that can be so aggravating and time consuming to find and edit into an audio track.
