Creative Panel changes exposure

I have noticed when applying LUTs to my videos that if I have made adjustments to the curves, I can't adjust anything in the creative panel of Lumetri color without it increasing the exposure. If I reset the curves, I can adjust whatever I want and the exposure stays the same. This has really limited my ability to add LUTs, adjust vibrance, etc.

In other words, if I have messed with curves, then whenever I touch anything in the creative panel, the exposure gets cranked up automatically. Why?

    Please let us know if you were able to resolve the issue with exposure change in Premiere Pro.
