Credits roll lags Premiere 26 until it freezes.

Question

Hello,So, I’m working on my end credits roll and running into a maddening issue where the roll lags Premiere so bad that I can’t edit any of the text, and I eventually have to close the program and restart. I’m not doing anything out of the ordinary. Just standard text, with a simple font.Running on Windows 11.Premiere 26.3.2 Build 2Nvidia Studio Graphics Driver 616.92

So you’re adding the text within Premiere? I know that’s how I do it, but then, my ‘credits’ are not normally over 15 lines.

I do know that many who have truly pro-b-cast level long credits create the text in another app, then copy/paste them into the roll graphic in Premiere. Might help … but what you’re having happening really should not happen.
