crop handles disapeared after last upate of premier

after the last update of premier pro there is no longer the option to crop a clip/image/video with handles but only with % (right, left, bottom, up). when applying the crop effect and using the pen mask tool, i can use handles but i can’t succeed to get to the result that the cropped area is left and all the rest is erased. it was so much easier before… any solution?
