Crop will not work anymore on my videos after i click sequence then render effects in work area.

So I was placing caption but Premiere Pro is chappy/lagging or has no smooth playback so i can't put

the subtitle properly. I followed a tutorial and after that, that's when I noticed that all my videos which i put crop was lost. 

so normally i would go back to effects and drag crop to video then go to Effects control but even i click left or right crop nothing is happening. HELP!

and even the setting of my other file was also affected like the edited brightness of previous project i did.
