cross dissolve boxes on clip when mousing over in timeline, how do you remove them

The only way this can be worked around is to make the track a bit taller, so you have enough space to click without hitting the icon. Thankfully you can create a keyboard shortcut to change track heights.

That’s a bad idea, unless they wanted to slow-down my workflow.  Then it’s great!
