Question

CS6 dropping frames at end of speed-adjusted clips

hi, I'm editing 48fps clips in a project with settings of 50fps (closest I can get to the 48fps footage).

When I speed up any clips, CS6 is dropping several seconds' worth of frames from the end of the clip. The same happens if I crop the clip and then speed it up - frames are dropped.

Anyone any ideas on what's happening please - and how to stop it?    thankyou

Might want to try a 25 fps sequence.

    hi Ann

tried a 25fps clip in a 25 fps settings project - no dropped frames. Problem uniquely applies to my 48 fps footage. I cannot create a project with 48fps  - the closest I can get is 50fps - do you think this is the issue (or is there a way of creating a project at 48fps? Custom options don't seem to include 48). thankyou

If you put the clip in the new item icon it will create a sequence that matches the footage.
