CS6 Transfer from old computer to new one

Hi,

I bought CS6 (on disc) five year ago and loaded it onto my desktop and laptop.   The laptop has failed, and I need to buy a new one.  How do I transfer the CS6 program from the old laptop to the new one?

Thanks.

Marc

When you have a non-functioning computer and can't deactivate a serial number

BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT

    Click here for a non-Cloud program http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-c1.html

You install the same way you did the 1st time... put your disc in the drive and enter your serial number when asked, or download the installer and enter your serial number when asked

Great links, John. My old download of CS6 Production Premium was corrupted a year or 2 ago when I tried to access it. So I'm downloading a backup now. I think that was one I got as a download rather than actual disks.

Marc, I just confirmed that all my old license numbers are in my Adobe account on line. Just log in (adobe.com), click on Plans and then "My products." Installing with the original disks is best, but there appears to be a way if you don't have them.

John's advice about activations is important.
