Ctrl ~ Full Screen Not Working on 4K display (Zooms into a Corner)

Hello,

I just bought an HP Spectre x360 15 today specifically for my filmmaking project. It has a 4K Display.

I went to open my project in Premiere Pro CS6, and everything was super tiny. I searched the internet for a solution, and I tried two things:

First, I tried right-clicking on Premiere Pro and changing the compatibility settings. That fixed the general display, but then when I went to full screen mode (ctrl ~), it zooms into a little corner of the film.

Since the first option didn't work, I tried the "external manifest file" trick (here and here). Same problem: fixes the general display, but when I enter full-screen mode, all I get is a little corner.

I heard CC works fine on 4K displays, but I don't want to upgrade to CC. I want to keep using CS6 but just on my new 4K laptop, and be able to go to full-screen mode and see my entire movie, not just a little corner.

Has anyone had any luck with this? Please help ASAP!

I don't have that hardware, but since nobody else has answered I will add my $.01 worth of opinion

CS6 is nearing 5 years old, and was not designed to work with a 4k display... and, since it will never be updated again, I know of no way to make it work properly on hardware that did not exist at the time the source code was compiled into being the program
