Shortcut was removed from the beta some time ago.

    Hi there,

Thanks for the post. As far as I know, Maximize App Window has not been intentionally removed from Premiere.

Could you provide a little more information?

    • Windows or macOS, including the OS version

    • Keyboard type/layout

    • Did Ctrl+\ work in the previous version of Premiere?

    • What happens when you press Ctrl+\ in 26.5 — nothing at all, or something else?

If you have Premiere Beta installed, please also try Ctrl+\ there and let us know if it works.

That information should help us determine whether this is system-specific or an issue with the current version.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Hi everyone,

Just updated to the latest Premiere Pro release (v26.5) and ran into a significant issue: the Toggle Application Title Bar shortcut (Ctrl + \) is no longer working.

As a senior video editor who has spent over two decades optimizing workspaces, this specific shortcut is crucial to my daily workflow. I run a multi-monitor setup, and I rely on this command to quickly remove the program title bar. Hiding this bar allows my floating panels to automatically snap and fit perfectly on my secondary screens, maximizing every pixel of screen real estate.

Since this command doesn't traditionally appear in the standard Keyboard Shortcuts menu, I haven't been able to manually remap it to restore the functionality.

    • Has anyone else encountered this problem after updating to version 26.5?

    • Are there any known workarounds to force the title bar to hide in this release?

    Thanks in advance.
