Custom Bin Views Unstable?

I'm wondering if this is a bug or something I'm not doing correctly.

I have a custom bin view that includes headings I created using Add Properties in the Metadata Display window. I saved this bin configuration as a Custom setting, but each day, upon launching Premiere, that bin does not contain those custom (Add Properties) columns. Choosing the custom bin name from the pulldown menu in the Metadata Display window always restores those columns and their contents, but shouldn't they appear automatically?

    Hi Martin,

It seems to be a BUG in 2018 version. I'm on Windows 10 and can reproduce the same. Premiere pro 2017 version works fine.

    I will report this ASAP.

UPDATE: If the bin with the custom columns is left open in its own window upon shutdown, the custom columns do appear upon relaunch. But if the window is closed (or, possibly if it is left open in a tab—I haven't tried that option yet), the custom columns don't appear.

So, is this a bug, a design flaw, an indifference to programming detail, a user error or a user setting corruption?

    Inquiring mind,

    Martin

That's great Vinay, thanks. This version is the first time I've attempted to save a bin with custom headings.

Now, given you've confirmed that there is a problem, but can't yourself provide a solution (of course, through no fault of your own), do I mark your answer correct?
