Custom Metadata Export?

Hello,

I notice that I can't export the Premiere Pro Project Metadata, which has all of my custom fields.  I can export all of the default sections, like Dublin Core, Basic, Rights Management, etc.

Has anyone been able to do so?

Thanks!

If you want to access custom metadata properties, consider using the Custom Metadata Panel extension. It works in Premiere Pro, Photoshop (in Rosetta 2), Illustrator and Bridge. You can create custom forms that include XMP and Clip metadata, sync Clip metadata with XMP, and expose custom XMP properties that the Premiere Pro Metadata Panel can't show. It also supports metadata Presets. Forms and presets are shared between Pr, Ps, Ai and Br.

Hello. I am having the same problem as the member who posted. Your answer is interesting information and thank you for it. However, my problem is exporting my current fields, the ones I seleceted from the custom options in the metadata display. And thats the question-- how do you export what you want to export, how do you customize the ALE?

This is my first pro project! I made the logging deadline on time, and I may even get bumped from assistant editor to story editor. But when the EP asked for a catalog of the footage, to include the SPECIFIC information that we discussed... my first major hurdle. Am I really going to have to take screen shots of the metadata? this seems like a major Premiere oversight, easily fixable by putting an Adobe engineering team together for a month or two....

Hi. Thanks for the message. I hope the community can assist you with your question. In the meantime, check out the documentation on the topic here: https://adobe.ly/4ja3Lj4. Let me know if you have any questions covered there. I am not sure of a bona fide way to export project metadata. What have you tried so far? Let us know.

Thanks,
Kevin
