DeHummer ignored by Media Encoder?

DeHummer audio plug-in, new with Adobe Premiere Pro 2017 seems being ignored if rendered by Media Encoder, but if I render via just by pressing "Export" in Exprot Settings dialogue, it works.

Is it a bug, can anybody confirm this?

    Hi Neil

Thanks for the info, I have added my info to the post already created in Uservoice (link below).

This issue has been fixed (for me at least) in the latest update of Adobe Premiere (v13.0.2), hooray!!!

Has anyone ever found a solution to this? I've read 10 posts and none of them have solutions. It's been over 2 months. Every premiere export adds a hum to it.

It was fixed in a build a couple years back. Yours is the first post on this in that time. Which build are you using? What OS?

    Computer Specs:

    Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21GHz

    Installed RAM: 16.0GB 15.7 Usable

    System type: 64-bit operating system

My first issue this month was in an interview project. After a weekend of forums and settings I gave up as it was a simple hum in the background of a conversation. I had assumed it would be just this project but it has appeared in my next unrelated project. The first issue had a hum remover effect and denoiser and from my readings on the forums assumed something was messing up during the rendering process because it is fine in the timeline. But now I am having a hum added to clips with no effects, on a different project.

    Camera: SONY AX100

One of the clips is in a music that has a completely separate audio file from the camera. So obviously the hum couldn't be from that if I'm not evening using the audio.

The Camera files are in .MTS format

I've been on the current computer/adobe/camera/mic setupt the past 2+ years without issue.

This is no longer the correct answer.  DeHummer is ignored by outputting via Export directly in Premiere as well as via Queue to Media Encoder. What an awful bug!  And years old!

Now, taking the extra step of Audition is the only option. I am almost amazed the de-hummer worked in there.

    how do you use audition?

I'm new to Premiere and I am having the same issue with hum

I could use an answer soon.  I have to have this project turned in tomorrow and I've spent hours trying to remove the hum.  I bought Premiere and it worked...until I exported it.. Now what?  HELP

Exporting directly from Premiere used to work with regard to the dehummer, now the dehummer doesn't work that way either.

We were having the same problem (DeHummer not working with Premiere Pro CC2018 when exporting) when rendering on an AMD processor but when we rendered the video on our computer that has a Pentium i7 processor the DeHummer worked perfectly.

Hope this helps some of you out there

Dehumnmer works fine in preview - but ignored during export.

It is defineately a new bug.

I'm using Core i7, 7th Gen - so its not an AMD thing.

Adobe - you have to fix your bugs!

For now, I'm exporting the sequence to Audition. Waiting... waiting... its a slow just to clean up audio.

    I'm using latest Apps.

Ok, I'm back. I found the workaround as discussed in this thread for the last year by exporting directly from Premiere instead of running exports through Media Encoder. Well, something has changed in Premiere in one of the last updates as I can no longer get the Dehummer settings to apply to the export through Media Encoder or directly from Premiere. I can only get Dehummer to work when previewing the file in Premiere. I have no way of cleaning up the audio now. Help!

Having the same issue! Neither Premiere nor Media Encoder exports the DeHummer on certain clips, some work, some don't?

My workaround is to use Audio Hijack to record the audio from Premiere then replace it in the timeline (horrible i know)

Hi, same problem here. The DeHummer effect isn't applied when my exports are queued to Media Encoder, only when exported straight from Premiere. I have the effect applied to a track.

The exact same thing is happening to me. I have gone just about crazy trying to figure out why my encoded video still had the humming sound. Encoding straight from Premiere works. Thanks for posting this so I could finally finish my project!

Unfortunately, I don't have any audio files to test this on.

Here's a short snippet of audio where hum present. Dehummer with the default preset works very well, but if exported with media encoder it won't affect the sound.

I'm seeing the same behavior under Windows 10.  Export works, Queue doesn't.
