Delete Transcript

Is there a way to delete all transcript data from a project? The timeline frequently lags/hangs/freezes during routine editing after I created transcripts. Even with the text panel closed.  I created proxy media and removed all effects in an attempt to isolate the problem, and it seems that the problem is the transcripts. I tried creating a new project and importing my sequence via Media Browser but the transcript data is transferred too, and the lag persists.

    Hello @mjsloan,

     

    thank you for reporting this. We have worked on performance improvements around transcripts in the 24.2 release (which will be released this week) so it might be worth updating to 24.2. Please let me know if you still see performance issues there.
