Deleted clip reappears in exported project

Hi, can anyone help

 

I have cut down one of the clips in my project and used the second half of the clip and deleted the first half.  In the preveiw screen everything plays correctly and the clip i want is played, however, when i export the project and play the Mpeg, for some reason the deleted element of the clip has been used not the section of the clip shown in the preview.  Not sure that makes any sense.  Any help would be very much appreciated

Hmm. You might want to try deleting your media cache. https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/faq-how-to-clear-your-cache-in-premiere-pro-2019/td-p/8324672?page=1

Hi.  Ive tried that and still the same.  Ive now deleted the clip from the project and replaced it with a totally different clip.  I have cut this clip to fit and this new clip does exactley the same.  In preview it shows exactley what i want, however when i export it shows the first section of the clip (the bit i have deleted).  very strange, the project consists of about 40 other seperate clips with no issues.  Thanks for your help

Okay. I think I posted on another thread of yours as well. Maybe you can reply to that one and I'll see if I can think of anything else.
