Diable trim mode after Extend Edit?

Hi all. Mac OS10.13, PPro 14.0.0

So I use "E" (extend edit) a lot. Like, all the time.

In the 2020 upgrade, when I do an Extend, Premiere now automatically switches to Trim mode.

I do not want Trim mode, I want to be able to slap the spacebar and play from where I'm at. How do I disable this feature?

Are you using the latest version of Premere Pro (14.0.4). This issue was fixed and it should be back to original behavior in Premiere Pro 14.0.3 and higher.
