Hi,

So I downloaded the 7-day trial for Premiere Pro to make sure that this was the editing software which I wanted to use going forward definitely want to buy one it's just whether this software is the one which I want.

Anyways, I was watching tutorials on Youtube and they all seem to have various tabs at the top such as "Assembly, Editing,Color, Effects,Audio etc"

Meanwhile, I simply have "Import, Edit, Export".

I'm currently selecting "Edit" and no other tabs populate?

Was there a recent update or am I being stupid?

Fundamentally, without the other tabs I can't do a whole lot of much or get a taste for the software so if anyone could help that would be brill

That's the new workspace header bar ... they "improved" it by hiding things. And yea, that's a pain.

So ... of to the right side, there's a rectangle icon sorta like a screen? Click on that, you get a dropdown list of working spaces and options.

Go to the one for displaying more workspaces, click it.

Now there'll be like, 2 displayed. But there's a "pipe", a vertical bar to the left of the left one. Hover over that bar, click/drag left, and you'll get several more showing.

Neil has the answer there for sure, but I would suggest that at some point you're going to have maybe one or two layouts at most that you'll use as you customize your space on your screen. In the end, going through the convoluted process of accessing the default ones will just be a thing of the past.
