Differing audio files of same event need syncing

Hi,

I have a radio event filmed on camera plus the radio station’s audio file of the same, and the timing is slightly different. If I sync up at one point it’s not long before one track outpaces the other.

How to coordinate precisely?

    One of them may be recorded on a variable frame rate. I’d consider running one or both files through the free app “HandBrake” and saving to a fixed frame rate.

    Thank you for coming back to me.  I’ve now tried both Handbrake and Media Info, and couldn’t see any disparate information so as to correct one or the other.  May I ask the following:

    The main recording is a radio show (WAV file), and meanwhile we were filming the event on the Lumix S1H camera.  The objective here is to sync-up the two files in PP.  Here’s the Dropbox link in which is placed the audio (radio) file plus one of the (three) camera files (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/e5owzbatf6u2njwgny91w/AMB2Ah6sTMCxzlArwGMZTao?rlkey=ixc8vgogo8prpya9mjc4e0mkk&st=gaiszkuw&dl=0).  Assuming it’s easier to alter the audio file, may I please ask you to suggest how I might best achieve this?

    Alternatively, how would I manually stretch/shrink the audio file?

    Update:

    while in PP the info is there - one is 48kHz, the other is 44.1kHz (thank you for pointing me to look in this direction).

    So now I’ve created a new, corrected audio file and synced-up in the timeline at one point.  However, there remains an outpacing as time goes on.  As I took the audio file from a web recording browser I suspect that this stretch/shrink issue is not going to change via altering files, and therefore the track on the timeline is going to require manual manipulation.

    My ‘thinking ahead’ suggests picking four (2x 2) corresponding points minutes apart (say, a cough) and to adjust a “speed duration” - is this a sensible option?  And what about audio pitch?
