Digi 003 Mixer with Premiere Pro CC 2020

Will the Digi 003 work with the current Premiere Pro?   Motorized faders, specifically.

Firewire to Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 to PC or Mac?

Would it need special settings?  Just wondering if it's worth dusting off...

I would say it's not worth it. What protocol was it? Some specific Avid thing, if i remember right. And it takes one square meter on your desk, doesn't it?

I have used Behringer BCF2000 and Icon IControlS Pro before, good devices, but they live on a shelf now. They were so loud, that's why i started to look out for other solutions.

Have a look at Avid's free software Avid Control for Android or iOS (https://www.avid.com/products/avid-control) try it out with your mobile, if you don't have a tablet yet, get yourself a (cheap) tablet (mine was 150€), and there you go. This is what i did.

It works great with Premiere 2020 (not with 2019) here on PC even in the standard configuration, and has a ton of additional features compared to standard midi devices. And meanwhile i have learned to customize it pretty well for my needs. (funny enough here it works better with Premiere and Audition than with Avid's Media Composer.)

You will need an Avid account to download the PC/Mac software you need. Start the app, enter your credentials, then you will find the software in My Products in your Avid account. It might as well be possible to register and download at http://euphonix.avid.com/main.php, but i did not try that.

If needed let me know if i can help in any way.

Thanks for the reply!  App looks cool, but its' missing the touch and sensory awareness I need.  I don't care about space, really.  The space in my bank account is more important.  If this now works with 2020 and not 2019, what changed?  Has anyone else tried porting the midi mode to premiere on a digi 002 or a digi 003?
