Question

Disabling GPUs and monitors

When I drag frames to the timeline, when I drag files from Explorer to the project, when the preview images are generated, the monitor fades for 10 seconds and when I return to the program, the video is no longer played, the SOURCE window has a black screen, only a reboot returns the video.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950x

Geforce 3070 (Latest drivers STUDIO)

RAM Kingston 3200 DDR4 32 x2

SSD Samsung T7 2TB

Power block Corsair RM 850wt

Windows 11

Adobe Premier Pro 23.0 (the previous ones have the same problem)

Please help me solve the problem

Have you tried putting the files on a local drive instead of the external T7?

Of course, I tried to open different projects from different disks. This does not solve the problem 😞

I've seen reports of this sort of thing on the Resolve forums, and there it's oft suggested to get a larger power supply, as the 3000 and 4000 series Nvidia cards can 'spike' power needs at times, and when they do, this can occur.

There are a couple other issues that can also cause this, but I don't recall them at the moment.

Yes, but I have 850w, that should be more than enough

If previous version has the same issue, might very well be a hardware issue.
