Disappear & Appear Effect

Hello,Guys, I want to make a video commercial about a local coffee, and I found a great inspiration, but at the same time, I don't know how or remember I would be able to make the disappearing & appearing effect for make the video, the video is on the following link so that you can understand what I'm saying.

if you mean the cup disappearing, this is Linear Wipe with feather around 35%

Drop the Linear Wipe effect on your footage, and use the Effect Controls panel

to keyframe the Transition Completion property. Set the Feather property to 35%

maybe more/less, just play around... let me know if you need more assistance.
