How do I get the video image of the clip to show in the timeline?

I checked the under the wrence in the tl and most fo the dropdowns

I did try thinbnails" but there is still no image in my clip. Am I mssing an option?

Not that I know of. You can clear the cache by holding down shift as you start PP from the desktop icon. Give that try, I do it almost every day since when I update the Beta version.
