Displaying Embedded Captions in an MXF File

After exporting a video as an MXF file with embedded captions, I want to check that the captions display properly before delivering the video.  I bring the embedded file back into a new timeline and I don't see any captions during playback.  I've searched to find where I can turn on captions and cannot find it in any menu.  Is there a way to quality check my exported video for closed captions within Premiere?  What am I missing?
