If any of you have used Ableton before, you know it has a "Collect All & Save" feature where it collect all the audio/data you've dragged into it and saves it all in one file

Does Premiere Pro have a feature like this? where it can collect all the stuff I've dragged into it (video/audio) and put it all into 1 file? (so i can delete the footage i didnt use)

I'm on a Mac OSX Yosemite

Premire Pro CC 2015 (latest update)

Cheers!

These guys are correct, and are offering an alternative workflow to avoid the problem.

To answer your question more specifically, yes, Premier has this functionality.

Goto File> Project manager

Pick a folder and hit OK

The PPro Project Manager is good for making a copy of a current timeline or transcoding to another format, but would not recommend for long-term storage solution.

Why do you need to put into one single file?  Even most archive style storage solutions support multiple files in folders.

Hey there, im the one who asked the question, this is my official account

Sorry my english failed, i need it to be in 1 FOLDER (not file)

Here's a real life example i can give you guys so it makes more sense:

I'm a youtuber. My videos are about 3 minutes in length. The raw footage i drag into premiere is about 30 Minutes in length.

On top of that i use different audio fx in my videos, which i drag from different folders on my computer.

My goal is to basically streamline this process and save as much space as possible.

So what im trying to say is, once I'm done editing my video in premiere pro, I wanna save it so it puts ALL THE CLIPS & Audio FX i used in the FINAL EDIT into 1 Folder.

Because as you know, when you drag in an audio clips into premiere form your "downloads" folder & then you end up moving the original audio clip into another folder, it shows it as "missing" in premiere pro. And it's a giant hassle to go and use the locate feature and find all the clips that are now in different folders.

I hope that all made sense, my english fails me sometimes.

Thanks you guys for trying to help out so far, i appreciate it!

I can make two suggestions.

First, editing takes up space.  Don't try and get around that fact.  If you need more space, get it.  Storage is one of the lest expensive aspect of this activity.

Second, do your organizing before import.  If you're going to use a video file, audio file, or a still image in a project, make sure there's a copy of that file in the appropriate project folder first, then import the file from there.  This is a far better method than asking your NLE to clean thing up after the fact.

Premiere Pro has a Project Manager which can copy or create new media based on usage, bit it won't come out in a single file.

And honestly, I recommend against using the feature.  Premiere Pro is an NLE, not a file manager.  You should use a proper file manager for managing files.  They generally work better.
