At work, we have a Production where, every time I open a project within it, the Preview Area shows up, taking up a bunch of real estate at the top of the project panel. I have "Preview Area" (toggle) mapped as a keyboard shortcut, but I'd love for the Preview Area to stop showing up unless I want it to.

At the same time, since this is a Production at work that many people are working in, I don't want to do this for everyone working in the Production - just me.

Is there a setting to make the Preview Area stop showing up unless I want it to?

I think toggling the Preview Area off using a custom keyboard shortcut is the best solution.

The visibility of the Preview Area is a setting saved within the project file itself. This means it can't be set as a system-wide preference.
