Question

Draw a path based on a Mask Path

I'd like to get an effect that looks like a pen tracing the path of this pitcher's shoulder. If I apply an effect (in this case I just chose gaussian blur for no particular reason) and then I choose Mask Path I can get the effect to automatically follow the shoulder, which is exactly what I want. How can I get my effect to look like a pen tracing instead of the gaussian blur?

Thank you!

I'm not able to view your sample MP4 movie, but try deleting Gaussian Blur and then apply Stroke (Effect > Generate > Stroke) and set the Color and Brush Size as preferred and then keyframe the End value from 0 to 100.

Thanks! I'll try it out once I figure out how to use AE, haha. First time just now.

Hi,

Thanks for the question. I think this effect would not be too easy to pull off in Premiere Pro. Do you have After Effects? That's the tool I'd use for that particular effect. @Warren Heaton10841144 - do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

Kevin

If it will accomplish this task, I will get it! Haha.
