Dual Monitor custom workspace no longer saving my settings, Premiere Pro CC 2020

Hi all,

For some reason, my dual monitor set up isn't working anymore.  Every time I launch Premiere, all my panels are on top of each other on my laptop.  I have an HDMI monitor connected that was working great, whether I left it plugged in or not, it would always launch in my preferred setup.  Now, I have to reset everything every time I start Premiere, and I have saved a new layout even, thinking there was a bug with my old one, and alas, it's not working either.  The only thing I can think is this is due to the upgrade to Premiere 2020, from 2019.  I honestly can't remember when I upgraded it, but that is the only thing that makes sense, as I haven't changed anything else about my setup.

Any advice/help is much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi jennala22,

We're sorry to hear about this. Sometimes the workspace files might get corrupt causing the app to misbehave. Have you tried the steps mentioned in this article and checked if it's helping. Let us know.

Thanks,

Sumeet
