Duplicate frame markers erratic in Premiere Version 24.1.0 (Build 85 Mac)

Question

When "show duplicate frame markers" is selected in the timeline settings, they display only erratically and partially. This function is absolutely crucial for me to do my work. I use it all the time. It worked in the same project in the previous version of Premiere (2023). After updating to Premiere 2024, the function no longer works.

The screenshot shows a sequence, in which I copied my edit into the timeline a second time by alt-dragging from the same timeline. Left side and right side show the exact same edit and are linked to the exact same source material. The clips on the left should also have duplicate frame markers throughout. However, only the right side has them. FYI: These are standard Prores video clips, not nested sequences, or other kinds of assets.

Is there a new hidden setting in Premiere 2024 that I am missing, which fixes this? Or is this a bug?
