DUPLICATING PREMIERE BUG (insane)

I've been working on this Premiere 24 project for a few weeks now, and at some points, some clips were duplicated. A colleague of mine handed it over to me, and I think he might have messed some things up, but everything that was duplicated got fixed. However, now, during my editing, out of nowhere, everything duplicated itself again. I managed to revert to a recent autosave, but this can't keep happening! It's a really bizarre bug. You can see that every clip has its 'couple' in the entire project.
