Estou tentando duplicar um texto para usar os efeitos que já estão nele, porém eu mudo o que ta escrito e ele muda na camada anterior também. gostaria que mudasse somente na camada que fiz a cópia

Hello, please give us the version of Premiere pro that you are using: with the former text engine, you needed to create a copy of the title to edit it, and keep the original intact, I think that it is what you have.

Find your text in the bin, right-click, duplicate it, place that copy where you want in your timeline, then edit it (double-click)
