Dupliquer sous-titres sur premiere pro

FR

ENG

Hello,

Here is my problem, I have my "clear" subtitle track on premiere pro and I would duplicate it to make an English version.

Except that when I duplicate it and modify the subtitles, it changes my initial track in French.

I can neither move nor back up or sometimes the tracks disappear for no reason.

Thank you

Have a good day

They may have imported in a different caption stream type. Post a screenshot of the Caption Panel for each of your streams (original and reimported).

Export the original caption stream - try .srt first. Then import it with a new name.

Let us know how that works.

Maybe I did something wrong. I exported the subtitles files in .stl, imported again in Premiere pro CC.

Then, the subtitles are just fine, I put them in my timeline and yet, they remain invisible on the video. I checked all the settings but still...

Thank you so much guys for your kinds help, but I guess I'll continue to rewrite my english subtitles manually one by one.

Kind Regards !

Try copy/paste instead of duplicate.

Thanks for your answer, the copy/paste also change the original subtitles
