dvaaudiofilterscan?

I saw a old post about this that the "dvaaudiofilterscan" pops up in the dock for the mac. And the answer were that the new update would fix it, but now 3 years later I dont think the same fix will work. What is it and what is it doing in my dock? Can you remove it? Im not super worried that its some malwere but still.
