Hi all. Dynamic link is slowly becoming the pain of my life and questioning why i even pay for the adobe suite.

I go to Media browser within premiere, find the AE project, but when i double click it I just see an empty folder, no compositions. This used to work and now it doesn't. I have tried uninstalling, reiinstlling, installing older versions, changing composition names. Nothing works. Please help.

    Hi Chloel,

Dynamic Link features work only between applications of same major version. You are using AfterEffects 2015 & Premiere Pro 2017. Please update AfterEffects to CC 2017 version, open the .aep file in it, save it & try Dyanamic Link.

Check the instructions to update Creative Cloud apps in this article Update Creative Cloud apps

Please let us know the status of the issue.

    Thanks,

    Vidya Sagar.

Have you tried opening AE first?

Have you tried a drag and drop from the AE interface to the PP interface?

Have you tried File>Dynamic Link>Import After Effects Composition...?

Nothing is attached.  You need to log into the forums with a web browser to post images.

What exactly happens with each of the methods listed?

Do you have any anti-virus, firewall or security programs installed?
