Dynamic link with After effects breaks after upgrade to v26

Hi all,

After upgrading the suite to v26 the Dynamic link with After effects compositions is constantily breaking. When I initially open the PPro project all links work as they should. After editing the AE clip (Ctrl-E on the timeline) and saving the aep the link in PPro breaks (Media offline) until I reload the PPro project.

This wasn't an issue until today after the upgrade. No other changes took place (hardware/software/network).

Any ideas?

    Hi Kostas,

     

    We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please confirm the exact version of Ae & Pr that you are using? Also, are the .aep & .prproj files saved on any network drive?

    Hi Sumeet,

    AE version 26.0.0 build 67, Premiere 26.0.0 build 72. Yes both files are located in the same network folder. Let me remind you that this workflow never caused an issue with versions 25 and before.

    Thanks for the details! For testing purposes, would you mind trying it with projects saved locally to see if it makes any difference? It will help us isolate the cause it diagnose the issue at our end.
