I have just made a project and delivered to client and then client asked me to do only one change. That rendering of video took a lot of time and now i have to do it again.........that will waste too much time of mine... as i will edit that one part and have to render the whole video again.........

So, question is how can i edit an already rendered video and edit and get rendering done much faster as i have already rendered the whole video before ...So how can i do this ...... pls help me....

Drag/drop your current media onto a blank timeline panel.

In Sequence settings, change the top item to Custom, then set your preview codec to the same as that exported media.

Make a cut before and after the section you need to change.

Make your changes. Then right-click and select "Render and Replace".

Then export, and in the export dialog, tell it to use smart previews.

That will only work for certain codec.
