edit clip in audition does not work properly

When editing Mxf files (i.e. have 8 audio tracks) using the command 'edit clip in adobe audition' does not work properly.

Render and Replace works just fine and all audio tracks are in the project. However when audition starts it only has one track.

This is for windows, for mac it works just fine, 

A possible workaround is to simply re-issue  'edit clip in adobe audition' . Then all tracks appear but the one that was there originally is still there.

This leads to a couple of problems, the single track may not be the one you want to edit. What's worse is that one of the tracks may no longer be associated with the clip and so you can waste many a fine hour editing  a track only to find it is unchanged in premiere 😞

I have reported this before and even raised a bug report but it is still present in CC 2019. The bug has been there for a few years.

time for a fix ?
