"Edit in Adobe Photoshop" is greyed out

Hi, I've recently ran into an issue while making an attempt to open a clip in photoshop from premiere pro. When right-clicking on the clip, it won't allow me to open is up in photoshop like it should. Instead, the option is greyed out for some reason.

Any help??? Please?

Hi,

I just had the same issue.

I noticed that my timeline was not rendered.

after a quick render it was no longer greyed out.

thanks for posting your solution...  Have no idea why that would cause a problem... but if it does the job...

Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and your source properties and sequence settings.  Are your photoshop files RGB?  If not, convert them...  CMYK in particular are problematic.  If you control click on the clip, can you reveal in finder (or explorer or whatever they call it in windows)?  If so, can you open the file in photoshop and make changes and will the Premiere timeline update properly?

We're talking about a still image clip and not a video clip, right?
