Edit in Audition isn't updating the audio

I'm trying to edit the audio of my videos in Audition but any changes I make are not reflected back in the video.

I've tried editing a clip form the Project media files.

I've tried editing a sequence.

I've tried nesting a sequence and editing the whole thing.

In all cases I do NR and some amplitude changes in Audition then save everything. But none of those changes show up in Premiere.

I've read one of the Adobe docs on how to do this and watched a few YouTube videos. I can't see that I'm missing any step.

(I've updated all CC software to the same versions.)

Was the answer ever found for this? I'm having the same problem

Individual clips end up creating an "... Audio Extracted.wav" in the project, but the original clips are not touched, nor is any place where they are used. Dragging the clip to a new sequence also continues to use the old audio.

If in an existing sequence I right click and choose "Replace with clip|From bin" then the audio updates, but it doesn't use the correct segment of the audio -- it always replaces it with the start of the audio sequence.

try unliking the audio clip you are trying to edit and right click the clip.. and choose 'edit in audition'.. and do you stuff and save.  Close audition when you can cause it uses resources just being 'open' on your computer. It should be changed in the timline then...

I shouldn't need to unlink though, should I?

In any case, I think the issue is that audio editing is broken when using multi-camera clips. If I go into the multi-camera sequence, and edit the source audio there, it then works.
