Edited Dialogue track in and points defaulting to start of source file

Hi there,

 

Hope you're all well. I edited a 3 minute interview on my macbook pro yesterday but when I transferred the project file to a windows system and opened it up, all the in and out points from the edited dialogue track are defaulting to the very start of the source audio. So I just have the very start of the audio file repeated at various lenghts throughout my timeline. The video is unaffected as are any graphics. I've attached an image below.

 

I tested the same project file again on my macbook and it works fine. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Thanks a million in advance!

My manager suggested a work around that worked great. Export an XML from the project file with correct in and out points on macbook, import the XML into project file on windows and use the functioning dialogue track in that to replace the broken one. Might be of use to someone!

I appreciate the time you took to create your post and workaround. It's helpful. It sounds like a bug that was reported by a good number of editors. Check out the Beta tomorrow. The fix should be there for you to try out. If not, it is coming soon. Let me know if that works for you.
