Edited with proxies but originals are missing. How to replace proxies with originals?

I ran into a similar issue after switching between machines and found that the original media paths got messed up. I was using rdp hosting to access Premiere on a remote server, and I think the file paths didn't match locally and remotely. I re-linked one file manually through the media browser, and Premiere auto-located the rest once it knew where to look—just made sure the folder structure was the same.

I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I'm running into something similar and wondering—did anyone end up finding a good way to relink missing original files when you only have proxies left in the project? I'm curious if using the Media Browser makes a difference versus relinking through the Project Panel. Would love to hear how anyone solved this or if there's a smoother workflow.

Please go to the Project Panel, select the proxy media, right-click, and go to Proxy > Reconnect Full resolution Media. Select a file and click the Attach button on the lower-right corner to attach the full-resolution media. Let us know how it goes.
