Question

Editing simple motion graphics for a reel

Actually, my question applies to Premiere Pro and After Effects. I'm trying to add some graphics to a video reel wherein I would like text to pop up while the person is speaking and some simple moving motion graphics (such as an arrow increasing, infographics). Would this be easier to do in After Effects? I find Premiere Pro easier and quicker to edit in and I'm still new to After Effects.. If I were to use a combo, would I have to export from premiere pro with the text etc and then add those motion graphics in AE? Is that a quicker work flow? Also, are there already existing templates I could use instead of animating from scratch for eg: a graph increasing etc? Sorry if I haven't been too clear! Still figuring out things. Any advice would be much appreciated.
